Saturday was the season opener for the Danville Farmer’s Market, and SouthsideCentral was there. We’re going to do a series of PhotoCentral articles so that you can see some of the highlights. Part #1 is ready to go!
The Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday from 7:30 AM until noon at Danville’s Community Market. Let’s go from the parking lot to inside the building in this first PhotoCentral article.

Since we’re early in the growing season, we’ve got mostly flowers for sale today.

As soon as they sell something, they’ve got something ready to take its place.

Lots of things for sale in the parking lot section of the market.

Some tables had a mix of everything. Note the new bike racks in the background

Yummy!

The sign says it all.

Rising Sun from Martinsville made the trip to Danville and sold a lot.

Beautiful colors on the silk flowers.

It took a lot of time to set up this booth.
And that’s Part #1 of our PhotoCentral tour through Danville’s Farmer’s Market. We’ll have more in this series of articles coming up on SouthsideCentral!
it’s always the.same.vendors.
mark aaron says new vendors tthere
Need to stop by and try some of RuRoux Melt & Cue’s BBQ and spice rubs. You can use the Purdy Bird on just about anything.
They could advertise with SouthsideCentral at very reasonable rates and sell way more BBQ & spice rubs.
the document purge needs to be there more often.maybe once a month
I’m going to show that once I get to the Make Danville Shine expo part. In the meantime, Commonwealth charges 25 cents a pound as their normal rate.
