Let’s continue our Main Street trip during Thursday’s River District Festival. We’ve already published Part #1 of this PhotoCentral series, so let’s jump right back into action with Part #2.
We’ll continue where we left off in Part #1…
We’re starting to build an audience on the other side of the street.
This dance group was from South Boston.
River District Artisans is one of the most colorful stores in the region. They also have Larry Oldham on display!
Speaking of colorful, look at this display.
Light refreshments were available.
A La Carte is the new home furnishings store in the River District, and it’s beautiful. Colleen said “Now you have a store in Danville where you can buy a nice lamp.” I like that, and she’s got much more than just lamps.
More people continue to arrive at the River District Festival.
Artists had items to sell along the street.
And that’s our look at the happenings and some of the businesses on Danville’s Main Street. In our next PhotoCentral article, we’re going to head to North Union Street and look at the art and performances there. That’s coming up soon here on SouthsideCentral!
