SouthsideCentral is the media source with the most photos from Danville’s Festival in the Park, and we’re continuing our PhotoCentral series with Part #3. We’ve already published Part #1 & Part #2, so we’ll keep the Ballou Park journey going with Part #3. Away we go!
We’re finishing our walk through the childrens ride area in this article.

For a kids ride, this Ferris Wheel was relatively high up.

It was only 15 minutes since the gates opened, so the lines weren’t long at some rides.

The Ballou Park reservoir made a great backdrop for the swings ride

It’s Kelly Johnson in the ticket booth!

This balloon popping game was a play-until-you-win format.

The children ride area had a food truck station.

Some of the vendors that sell at Festival in the Park have very fancy campers.

You can make your own flavor combination of sno-cone here.

The slide ride was over 25 feet tall.
I smell food. Good festival food. Delicious festival food. That’s our destination in Part #4, and that’s coming up next… only here at SouthsideCentral!
How did you fight off the crowd?
My new haircut cleared the path, sir.
