Danville’s annual Festival in the Park with last weekend and SouthsideCentral was there. We’re doing a PhotoCentral series on the event and we’re up to Part #4. I’m smelling good festival food coming up!

Even adults rode the giant slide.
The perfect weather and the Ballou Park Reservoir makes for a nice photo.
The Danville Police Department had a sizable presence at the event, but they were mostly in the background.

You can get pretty much every kind of festival food that you want at this vendor.
That’s a very creative way to carry a child.

I had to get the butterfly potato chips. Too much temptation.
Everybody loves big cinnamon rolls. Everybody loves loaded baked potatoes. However, it makes for a strange combination from this food vendor.

Did anyone actually attend the Festival? Lots of pics and no people.
Oh yes. I was there right as the gates opened.. People were arriving as I made my journey through the event.
I see there was no shortage of the brown food group at this year’s festival.
