After answering some Ask SouthsideCentral questions, let’s leap back to Danville’s Ballou Park. We’re continuing our PhotoCentral series from last weekend’s Festival in the Park. In the last article, we were making our way through the food section. We’ll continue that and start down the main street of the festival. Let’s get going!

The journey continues!
L.C. Moore & Lee Eagle are making sure everything is running smoothly.
Anna Pickeral is quite happy, while Lee Eagle looks all serious. He’s not fooling us one bit.
I’ve never been inside the reservoir area. I’m going to get a tour of that one day.
Island Smoothies. We’re not sure from what island, though. And for $10, you can have them served in a hollowed-out pineapple. Under the sea… No, I’ll stop before we all start singing.
These crabcakes looked and smelled great. I got a small sample and it was very delicious.
This booth was “cash only” which lost them a lot of sales to the other booths that took card payments.
You could smell the fresh oranges from far away.
That’s about as basic of a menu that you’ll find.
The food area extended on the path to the main stage.
