AT&T forces StarTek’s hand, but is it “doing the right thing”?
Henry County call center employees laid off (?) for having previous criminal record
(Laid off, my ass. But that’s a different story…)
I know that StarTek didn’t have a choice in firing all of these people, but some of the misdemeanor convictions were for things as relatively minor as driving on a suspended license.
That’s just what Martinsville needs, 70 more unemployed people. Sad.
This is good, as now we can move on to “Star Tek: the Next Generation”.
