UPDATED: Halifax county search for missing man in progress.

BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: Moorefield has been found on the old Dodson farm on Bradley Creek Rd. There is no word on his condition at this time. EMS is on the way to the scene. Moorefield is currently on one of the rescue team’s ATV. Thanks go to a terrific SouthsideCentral source for this information!

UPDATED: Ashley Singh from WSET-TV (ABC-13) will be going LIVE! with the family at the 6:00 PM newscast. Due to the breaking news it looks like that interview wont be happening.

We’ve confirmed that a search is in progress for a missing Halifax County man. Unconfirmed sources indicate that this search is around the Volens area. More to come as this develops.

UPDATE #1: The search is in the Nathalie area and everybody is looking for Author Lee Moorefield (63). He was last seen Saturday morning on his 4-wheeler. He has Parkinson’s Disease and has no medication (according to his family).
