Lynchburg gas station settles price-gouging suit.

$5.399 for a gallon of gas. Supply & demand be damned… that was way out of hand.

Virginia AG says price-gouging claim against Timberlake Citgo settled

Supposedly, if you can prove that you bought gas from that station that day, you’re eligible for a partial refund. Guess if you paid cash, you’re just screwed. Of course if you did buy gas at $5.399 a gallon, maybe you get what you deserve. 😉

I do remember the Spirit station just east of Danville had a gas price of $4.999 that same day. Hmmm, indeed.
