Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office: Still-Busters!

What happens when you have a liquor still on your back porch? Dumbasses. Like father, like son.

From our friends at the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office…

(Madison, NC) – – Narcotics detectives with the Sheriff’s Office went to 571 Planters Road after receiving information about marijuana plants growing outside and behind a gray building. As investigators approached the area, they located two marijuana plants with a combined weight of about 22 pounds. They also discovered liquor still on the back porch of the residence in plain view. Inside the residence, there were seven jars of non-tax paid liquor, marijuana seeds and a smoking pipe.

David Ezekiel Kennedy, 20, of 571 Planters Road was charged with Manufacturing Marijuana.

David Michael Kennedy, father of David Ezekiel and a resident of 571 Planters Road was charged with Possession of Equipment Intended for use in the Manufacturing of Non Tax Paid Alcohol, and Possession of Non Tax Paid Alcoholic Beverage.

What’s that? You say you want to see a photo of the still? It’s Instant Request Time!

Pretty complicated setup for a couple of dumbasses, eh? 😀

Why is it illegal to have a liquor still sitting for novelty looks, yet you can buy a brand new still and never be asked the intent for it???? The United States government has gone overboard with trying to keep marijuana illegal. It is a natural herb I mean seriously what is the harm in having 2 plants. The ONLY thing that this government cares about is money if they don’t get a share of the profits it’s automatically illegal. What has the world came to?? They should’ve weighed his hemp ropes too because the total weight of the plants they weighed included the stalks and stems which are legal to manufacture for hemp products in North Carolina.

Liquor making is actually a quite complicated process so apparently you are the dumbass for not comprehending the complexity of this situation. The government will lose this battle just wait. I’m sure it will be on the news as well.

Don’t you think it’s a little overkill to have this story ran 3 and 4 times on the news and everywhere on the internet? I mean there were 18 arrests in Eden for Crack Cocaine and it was on the news ONCE!!!! Having a liquor still is a misdemeanor charge that does NOT call for your mug shot to be shown on television. Especially an old picture that wasn’t taken for the charge. Everyone that is making a big deal about a liqour still being found on a TIP about 2 pot plants is acting immature and is giving the US government more power than is constitutional. This is not what the founding fathers would want. Alexander Martin was a six time governor and was Rockingham County’s first governor. He had his liquor still written into his will. Should he have not been charged as well? He owned the property that this still was found on…..maybe it was his????? So much for antique collecting.
