Let’s head to the town of Halifax and see what’s going on with their police department…
From our friends at the Halifax Police Department…

Irby estimated damage to each vehicle at $1200 and charged Crew with failure to yield the right of way.

The Suburban then struck a 2000 Nissan Altima, operated by 56 year old Michael L. Worsham of Long Island, from behind. Worsham’s vehicle then struck a 1997 Pontiac, operated by 57 year old Deborah L. Thompson, from behind. Total damages were estimated at $15,000. The juvenile was charged with reckless driving.
On November 13th, Officer A. D. Tribble arrested arrested 21 year old Claudia R. Barksdale of Halifax on 2 charges: misdemeanor property damage and assault & battery.
You’d think the town would step up and hire more officers. These poor folks operate a department with one cop on a shift. God help them if the sh*t hits the fan.
