Danville police report early-morning abduction

This is one big list of criminal charges.

From our friends at the Danville Police department…

Danville Police responded to a disturbance call on Dula Street this morning.

At approximately 5:50 A.M. Danville Police responded to Dula Street in regards to a male assaulting a female in a car. Responding officers arrived on the scene and the car left the scene. Officers observed a female attempting to get out of the car as it left the scene. Officers pursued the car to the 200 bock of Arlington Road where the driver jumped out of the car. After a foot pursuit the driver was apprehended. The female victim, a 25 year-old Danville resident suffered minor injuries from this incident and did not seek medical attention.

After further investigation, Danville Police charged Brad L. Price age 28 of Danville in this case. Price is currently in the Danville City Jail under no bond. Brad L. Price was charged with the following violations in this incident:

REF: Virginia State Code 18.2-479.1 – Resist Arrest
REF: Virginia State Code 18.2-57.2 – Domestic Assault and Battery
REF: Virginia State Code 18.2-266.1 – Driving Under the Influence
REF: Virginia State Code 18.2-268.3 – Refusal of Blood or Breath Test
REF: Virginia State Code 46.2-817 – Felony Fail to Stop for Blue Lights and Siren
REF: Virginia State Code 46.2-894 – Hit and Run
REF: Virginia State Code 46.2-301 – Suspended Virginia Operator’s License

The police investigation is ongoing.
