If you’re need ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction, I don’t give a damn what form a doctor has signed. Even though the school and coach are probably legally off the hook since they’ve got the doctor’s permission, it sets a horrible example to let a teenager run the risk of more damage just for the possibility of playing a game.
I’m not a doctor nor do I play one on TV, but I’m appalled at this story. I woud hate to think that I’m the only one that wants to look out for this kid’s future.
Aside: In a purely technical point, a headshot photo of somebody wearing sunglasses is horrible. A person’s eyes are key to making this type of photo work. Sheesh.
