Editor’s Note: This is not a SouthsideCentral endorsement. Although the Register & Bee ran a news story about Coleman’s endorsement, they failed to publish his statement. I’m doing this for Nigel Coleman because I feel he deserves the courtesy of having his letter published. Plus, you won’t find any Brainless Quotes Of The Obvious from Isaac Wood here at SC. 😉
I am Nigel Coleman, Chairman of the Danville TEA Party. My work in this movement has given me the opportunity to get to know each of the candidates running in this primary. After looking closely I believe each of the candidates can make good representative but, I know Feda Morton will make a great representative.
We don’t need a career politician, we need a lifetime activist. Someone strong enough to stand up to the forces of the status quo, not join in and play the game. Feda wants to help the TEA Party movement make positive change rather than use it for personal gain and she has the right mix of energy and knowledge to go to be an effective Congresswoman. The runaway spending and growth of this government have become unsustainable. In the next few years we will need her strong conservative leadership to make the tough choices to put this country back on track.
I am a young person but, I know that the battles over health care, climate change, and the national debt are battles I may be fighting for the rest of my life. What has happened to this country did not happen overnight. We need people with Feda’s passion to see this through to the end.
Over the past year, I have felt a lot like Dorothy in the “Wizard of OZ”. This movement has come and picked up my house and dropped it on Nancy Pelosi’s sister. I now find myself wandering this strange new land of politics. Like Dorothy, I have met friends along the way who have been a great help to me. Feda Morton is one of those friends. She has walked the yellow brick road and fought the flying monkeys. However, unlike Dorothy’s friends, my friend has brains, courage, and a heart.

OOOOOOOOO-Kay
Feda’s done.
Nigel may feel like Dorothy but Feda just had a house land on her. All that’s left is for Nigel to do is to take off those ruby red slippers off Feda and “Ease on down, Ease on down the road”
Yes, like you guys said, with Nigel’s endorsement, Feda is bound to lose!!! What a joke he is, LOL!
Feda is no more. Even my two neighbors that had Feda signs have taken them down. They are both heading to the Martinsville GOP event tonight to make up their minds. I think one will vote for Ferrin (don’t ask me why) and the other will stay home on June 8th. But at least they are out there trying to make an informed decision.
