Want to hunt for a $15,000 diamond ring?

There’s going to be a $15,000 diamond ring hidden in downtown Roanoke. Do you want a chance to find it?

Fink’s Jewelers is doing a promotion called the Roanoke Diamond Dash. According to the official rules, they will select at least 250 people to play their game. If selected, you’ll get text messages on your cellphone with clues and riddles that you’ll have to solve. You’ll score points for each correct answer and the person with the most points wins the diamond ring. In an “Amazing Race” type of rule, you won’t be allowed to use a car or taxi, but public transportation, bicycles and traveling on foot is allowed.

This sounds like fun… anybody up for it?
