A home invasion, a house fire and a punching bag.

Say, That’s Odd. Something just ain’t right with this story…

Victim tied to punching bag; home invasion, fire probed

I’m no police investigator, bet I’d bet anybody that this simply wasn’t a random crime. For now, I’ll call it a hunch… but hardened criminals who are going to do a home invasion at 1 AM don’t usually burn the house down and leave the only occupant tied to a punching bag in the yard. Just sayin’.

We’ll see what happens as the police investigation continues.

    Dear Central:

Are you able to inform your readers about the recent purchase of the Schoolfield Mill site by the IDA. The newspaper reported that the IDA paid $5 million to a group called “OMBC Schoolfield Buildings, LLC” Does anyone in the public know who these folks are who got $5 million of public money?
