He saved the taxpayers a lot of money and he was remorseful for his murders. What a happy ending. Wait, what?

Am I really supposed to feel compassion for this guy for showing remorse after killing his wife, his pregnant sister and the unborn child? He didn’t show any damned bit of remorse when he took off with his own children putting them in danger as well. It’s a grumpy Monday morning but that’s not why I’m not crying that the guy hanged himself and wasn’t completely successful as he didn’t die until they got him to the hospital.
On second thought, he did end up getting the deserved death penalty anyway and he got it faster than the dysfunctional justice system would have strapped him down for the lethal injection.
Maybe it’s a good ending for this case after all…
(Oh yeah, the News & Record is way too eager to disable the Facebook commenting system on their stories. This could have been a horribly hilarious trainwreck.)
