If you’re wrong, blame it on God and then whine for sympathy.
Let’s take a look at one of the multitude of amateur weather forecaster that the internet has crapped out for us.
NC Piedmont Weather: SNOW MOVING INTO AREA THROUGH 1PM
We’ll skip the part where this guy has made 17,243 changes to his latest forecast and finally decided that it’s going to snow (while it is snowing). Let’s jump to this Whine-O-Rama…
I am not perfect nor have I ever claimed to be so as said before IF this storm does not meet what I was calling for cut me a little slack. I have called the 5 storms before this one with pretty good accuracy so everyone misses systems sometimes and it is just God’s way of keeping us humble. With that, I also want to say thank you to my fans that have been overwhelmingly supportive and uplifting because without you it would be difficult to forecast among the naysayers.
Oh shut up and own your mistakes, can’t you? I’ve been holding off all winter long from blasting these people who look at weather models from 14 days out and make horrible predictions… then they conveniently ignore all the wrong guesses that they make and keep going on. I’m also sick of their fanbase that’s gullible enough to not realize how wrong these people are most of the time. That fanbase then continues on to worship the partly-cloudy ground that happens to have 2 inches of snow on it.
This whinefest just finally made my head explode. I make wrong predictions at times and I have no problem admitting that I was wrong. It’s painful but I don’t blame others and call them poopieheads for pointing out that I blew it.
Yeah. I said it.
