QuickHits! is a way for you to quickly check out some headlines that have caught my eye. Let’s get these Hits out of the way Quickly!
Big QuickHits! Board, please?
- If you’re doing a promotional stop for a racetrack only 20 miles away, it’s not very good publicity to say that you’ve never seen the track before.
- Let’s write about a relatively non-controversial unanimous Supreme Court decision that’s a month old and find out that it hasn’t changed one damn thing about the Danville police department’s procedures. I guess it was too much trouble to check with the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Department to see if the ruling affected their policies.
- You could use a better word that “randomly” in the sentence “Enforcement of the limit will be done randomly by the Martinsville Police Department”.
- After this letter to the editor ran in the Chatham Star-Tribune, Danville Regional Medical center amazingly got a story in the Register & Bee that “cost overruns” had delayed the project. Because we all know Lifepoint and DRMC doesn’t have an extra million dollars laying around to spend on projects like this. Right. We all believe that. Uh huh.
Hey, that was Quick! Just like we promised. More coming up on SouthsideCentral!
