Bobby Roach returns for one of his beautiful photo essays…
This week, I am once again looking back as I look forward. I shot both of these photographs in downtown Danville, Virginia in 2008. The water tower photo was taken in March and the photo of the flowers on the Riverwalk was taken in October. I appreciate these images as a set because they represent two things that are infinitely important to me about Danville: its historical integrity and its natural beauty. There are many unleveraged assets in the community and I am excited to see where the next few years of growth and development take us. I hope you enjoy reflecting on these ideas as much as I do.
