My observersations 5 people from the city showed up . Sides from the county showed up . U , a photographer, Mark Aron from city tv and the city’s pio.
Ok during other photo’s I only counted about 5 to 6 employees????
So how much is the city into the tobacco commission for this co if the shut down and go by bye
This was on a weekday afternoon, so I understand the low attendance by Danville City Council members. John Gilstrap, Buddy Rawley, Gary Miller and Lee Vogler were there. If I remember correctly, Sherman Saunders had something come up at the last minute and couldn’t make it. Media: Vicky Morrison and Steven Mantilla (R&B), Susan Light (Star-Tribune) and me. Mark Aron, Ken Larking, and Arnold Hendrix were there from the city.
You’re right about the employee count. The company still has 3 annual $400K installments to make on their repayment.
Is there a sign on the property stating the company name other than the one in the window of the building?
Ah ha! You noticed that too! No, and that window sign looks suspiciously like the namecard that’s hung over a booth at a trade show.
