Hey look! It’s a two-headed cow! Nah, we wouldn’t resort to using clickbait opening lines like that here on SouthsideCentral.
It’s Sunday and that’s QuickHits! day. Well, except for last week when we were the disaster recovery thing from a hard drive crash. Let’s take a look at some of the stories that have caught my eye over the last week. And yes, we have a two-headed cow for you.
Quickhits! and a Big Board, please!
- It’s time for the Martinsville-Henry County’s Chamber of Commerce’s Fast Track trade show. It’s worth the drive to go there on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM.
- Three burned out Model-T Fords are found from a fire that happened in 1930.
- A Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office deputy broke his neck in a patrol car crash.
- A horse only had minor injuries after he was rescued from a trailer crash.
- Gee, I wonder why the principal of Bartlett Yancey High School resigned?
- Fred Clark gets some competition in November’s Halifax County sheriff’s election. I wonder how much longer he’ll have the patrol car that he’s posing beside.
- And as promised… Hey look! It’s a two-headed cow!
We always deliver on two-headed cow promises! We’ve got more coming up on SouthsideCentral!
