We’re going to take a break from Endorsement Week here on SouthsideCentral and wrap up our series on Friday’s activities at the River District Festival. The “Glow With The Flow” 5K race has just started and we’ll take it from there.

We’re 19 seconds after the start of the race and the racers (walkers?) are almost all past the starting line.
Corrie Teague & her niece… HELLO!

The finish line path runs between Danville Fire Department engines with all of their lights going.
All of the firefighters are out cheering the runners on as they head for the finish line.
Darn it! By the time I got back to the finish line, runners have already crossed it.
Let’s go back and look at the side view of the finish line path.
The family that runs together enjoys the race after-party together.
