Business After Hours: God’s Pit Crew – Part #6

You’ve seen the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce‘s Business After Hours activities in our previous PhotoCentral articles, and now you’re coming along with us on our tour of the God’s Pit Crew warehouse. We’ll continue where we left off looking at their woodworking shop. Let’s go!

If you can’t make whatever you want using all of these tools in their woodworking shop, it probably can’t be made.

God’s Pit Crew accepts donated lumber for their projects.

They’re well stocked on electrical equipment.

The God’s Pit Crew annual banquets are known for their use of well-crafted props. We’re looking at some of that now.

Administrative Director Rhonda Zola is leading our tour tonight. Here’s some of the foam core that’s used in the prop-making.

Here’s some of the creative props that God’s Pit Crew has made for previous banquets and events.

Here’s the CNC (computer numerical control) foam core cutting machine. It use a razor-thin hot wire to cut whatever design is programmed into the machine.

This area has seating for about 75 people. It’s used for bible study workshops and other things. It can also be used for church and business presentations.

God’s Pit Crew has the audio-visual equipment needed to film and edit any presentations that happen here.

In the next article in this series, we’ll look at the huge storage space that God’s Pit Crew has in this warehouse. That’s coming up soon here on SouthsideCentral!
