On Sunday, May 29th, 2016 at approximately 1:50 am Deputies with the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office were involved in a shooting incident during a traffic stop. The investigation has been turned over to the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.
That’s a basic non-informative press release that glosses over the fact that a deputy shot and killed somebody, but I digress.
