Oh man. SouthsideCentral had a great time at the 2016 River District Scavenger Hunt held on Thursday night. We hope you were part of the fun, too. We’re starting a series of PhotoCentral articles from the event. We’ll start at Danville’s JTI Fountain and make our way all around the River District. Let’s get our first article started!
The Scavenger Hunt starts at 5:30PM, and we’re getting to the JTI Fountain about 15 minutes early. Let’s go!
Ben Wright is tonight’s DJ, and he and his wife Rebecca are setting up for tonight’s music.
SouthsideCentral’s sister, Susan Granger, talks to Rebecca Wright while Ben continues to set up his equipment.
The River District Association board members make last minute changes to the game sheet as early arrivals get briefed on the rules.
Kim Custer goes over the rules of the Scavenger Hunt with one of the game players.
Ernecia Coles & Varun Sadana show these game players where there merchants’ stamps will go on their game sheets.
Varun & Ernecia know the rules of the game by heart!
Robert Brooks always has a smile on his face!
Phillip Hayes gives Susan Granger her instructions for the Hunt.
Sheila Baynes, come on down! Ernecia is getting her into the game.
We’re getting ready to head out to Danville’s River District to start the Scavenger Hunt. That’s coming up in Part #2… only here on SouthsideCentral!
