RandomThoughts! (1/3/20)

Let’s think randomly!

We need a Big Board, so here it comes!

  • The 616 restaurant is closed for a few weeks as the new owners get their version ready. King Cropp changes their hours to 11-9 on weekdays and expands their menu. Now that’s smart business with a side dish of smart marketing on making sure nobody forgets the “farm to table” concept.
  • King Cropp has also defeated The Restaurant Spot Of Death.
  • The six (or more?) speed limit changes on 29 between Danville & Lynchburg are damned infuriating and confusing.
  • Lynn Street Market is still a mystery to a lot of people and that’s a shame. Their freshly-cooked hot bar in the back has some of the best food in Danville.
  • Yeah. Lots of food thoughts. Don’t be surprised.
  • The city of Lynchburg is confusingly laid out for somebody who’s just visiting there.
  • The city of Danville would make millions of dollars if they were to start ticketing fire lane parking in front of the Nordan ABC store.
  • It’s hard to believe that the SouthsideCentral numbers returned right back to where they left off during my last hiatus. Thank you for the support.
  • You may not know that you have mice in your house until one is delivered to your bed at 3 AM.
  • Rural King is Tractor Supply Deluxe.
  • Buffalo Wild Wings will always be BW3 to me.

Ok, I’ll stop before the RandomThoughts turn into “Hey you kids, get off my lawn!”

We’ve got more coming up here at SouthsideCentral!
