After a discussion on our last Danville Register & Bee headline writing disaster, we learned that all the headlines are written in the Lynchburg office and not on Monument Street. Well, the headline writers in Lynchburg really blew it this time… On Christmas Day, we’ll bring you some more photos from the Danville Veterans Day Parade. No, that doesn’t make any sense to us either. I’m sensing that we may actually get to Christmas Parade photos before next October. Maybe. Heh. Anyway, on we go with Part #10! My Thoughts are Random. Danville’s Golden Skillet has one of the best chicken breast fillet sandwiches in the region. SouthsideCentral was LIVE! at the Danville Public Schools central office for Thursday’s Danville School Board meeting. We had some technical difficulties but we’ve got everything fixed now. The Regional Industrial Facilities Authority met at the Danville Regional Airport on Monday, and SouthsideCentral was there to cover the meeting. Let’s go over what happened. However, you’ll be able to see the old Hampton Inn from the new Hampton Inn. If you missed this weekend performances of “Elf – The Musical Jr.” from the North Star Theatre Project, you’ve still got the upcoming weekend to catch the show. SouthsideCentral was able to catch the play on Sunday evening. Here’s some photos that we took at the show! Today (Saturday, December 5th at 2:30 PM) and tomorrow (Sunday, December 6th at 6:30 PM), the North Star Theatre Project is putting on “Elf Jr. – The Musical” with very talented child actors & actresses. The show will be at Danville’s Historic North Theatre and you can get your tickets now at their website or at the box office at showtime. They will also perform the play next Friday, Saturday & Sunday. We’ve already published some photos from rehearsals in Part #1 of this series. Let’s keep it going with some more photos!
